This Privacy Policy explains how Trakify App Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal data when you use Trakify, and what rights you have in relation to that data.

What Data We Collect
Your Trakify account
To create your Trakify account and calculate your daily targets, we collect the following personal data:
Email address
Height
Date of birth
Gender
Activity level
Fitness goal (lose, maintain, or gain weight)
Target weight
Weekly rate of change
Body weight
App settings and preferences
If you do not provide this information, you will not be able to create an account or use Trakify.
Workout data
We collect data from the workouts you log, including exercises, sets, reps, weight, distance, duration, and dates, to provide the workout tracking features of Trakify.
Nutrition data
We collect data from the food you log, including items, quantities, calories, macros, and timestamps, to provide the nutrition tracking features of Trakify.
Usage and diagnostic data
We collect usage and diagnostic data to monitor app performance and improve the app, including feature usage events, onboarding events, bug, crash, and error reports, and profile properties such as your fitness goal, age range, and gender.
We also automatically collect technical information about your device and app, including your device model, operating system version, app version, and IP address.
Support emails
If you contact us for support via the app, we collect the email address that the support email is sent from, your account email, account ID, app version, and build number.
How We Use Your Data
To provide our services - creating and managing your account, calculating your daily targets, and storing and displaying your workout and nutrition data
To improve the app - analysing how features are used and monitoring performance to make better product decisions and fix bugs
To respond to support requests - communicating with you when you contact us for help
To comply with legal obligations - keeping records of privacy choices, deletion requests, and related compliance information
Our Legal Bases for Processing
Contract (Article 6(1)(b))
We process your account data, workout data and nutrition data because it is necessary to provide the service.
We also respond to support emails to help you use the service.
Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f))
We collect usage and diagnostic data to monitor app performance and improve the app. You can opt out of usage analytics at any time via the app settings, though diagnostic data will continue to be collected as it is essential for app maintenance.
We also retain support emails to improve our service.
Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c))
We keep records of privacy choices, deletion requests, and related compliance information where necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We may use anonymised, aggregated data for analytics and product improvement purposes. We only share personal data with the following service providers:
Supabase - hosting account, workout, nutrition, and body weight data
Mixpanel - product usage analytics
Sentry - crash and error monitoring and diagnostics
Apple - Sign in with Apple and subscription payments
Google Workspace - support email handling
International Data Transfers
We primarily store account, workout, nutrition, and body weight data in the European Union. Some of our service providers may process or access personal data outside the UK or EU, including in the United States and other countries. Where we make restricted transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or approved contractual safeguards such as the UK Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement.
Our current providers that may involve international processing or access include Mixpanel and Apple. You can request more information about the safeguards relevant to your data by contacting us at support@trakify.app.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your account and related data until your account is deleted or until you decide to delete the data from within the app. Backups are also retained for a further 7 days before being overwritten.
We keep your usage data for up to 2 years, or until your account is deleted.
Diagnostic data is automatically deleted after 30 days.
Support emails are automatically deleted after 180 days.
Your Rights
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Right of access - you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right to erasure - you can delete your account and request deletion of the personal data associated with it from within the app at any time, or contact us to request deletion
Right to rectification - you can correct inaccurate data directly within the app at any time
Right to data portability - you can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
Right to restrict processing - you can ask us to restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances
Right to object - you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. For usage analytics, you can do this at any time by turning off analytics in the app settings
Some actions, such as correcting certain account information, deleting logged data, and deleting your account, can be completed directly in the app. For all other rights requests, contact us at support@trakify.app. We will respond without undue delay and, in most cases, within one month. Where applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision on your request, you may do so by contacting us at support@trakify.app.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Deleting Your Data
Deleting data within the app
You can delete the following data from within the app at any time:
Workout logs
Food logs
Custom exercises
Custom foods and meals
Exercise notes
Workout routines
Deleting your account
You can delete your Trakify account from within the app at any time. To delete your account:
Tap the Settings button on the food or workout home screen
Scroll to the bottom of Settings
Tap Delete Account
Confirm on the pop-up
This will permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it. Any data that may remain temporarily in secure backups will be overwritten within 7 days. Usage data held by our analytics provider may take up to 90 days to be fully deleted following our deletion request.
Children's Privacy
Trakify is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create an account or use Trakify. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete the account and associated data promptly.

We take reasonable technical, administrative, and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption, secure authentication, and strict access controls. However, no online system can be entirely secure. To help protect your data, you should keep the app and your device software up to date.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The last updated date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. We encourage you to review it periodically.
